Mobile operator O2 Ireland has launched the new BlackBerry 8700g wireless handheld.
Weighing just 134g, the BlackBerry 8700g features a bright, high-resolution screen that supports more than 65,000 colours to deliver vivid graphics, in addition to a full 35 key QWERTY keyboard.
Among the other features it incorporates are: increased memory; a light-sensing technology that automatically adjusts the screen and keyboard lighting levels; superior audio quality for crystal clear calls; address book integration for advanced car kits and dedicated ‘send’ ‘end’ and ‘mute’ keys for easier voice calls.
For international users, the BlackBerry 8700g offers quad-band functionality, supported by a battery life of up to 16 days standby and four hours talk time.
The BlackBerry 8700g costs €359 and will be available in Irish retail stores.
