Sturdy box: Plextor’s device is designed for portability

Plextor has unveiled an external BD-Combo drive. The PX-B310U is a portable device which lets users watching high-definition movies or backup their files to CD or DVD formats while away from the home or office.

The new drive comes bundled with software that includes CyberLink BD Suite and PlexUtilities. The maker says this gives users more control over editing their data and controlling how the disc is created.
