Dell Alienware X51

Dell has forsaken the XPS brand in favour of Alienware when it comes to the gaming sector and the X51 is a neat way to show how gaming PCs can be compact and powerful.
Weighing only 5.49Kg and slim enough to fit under your TV, the X51 comes with 8Gb RAM, 1Tb hard drive and an Intel Core i3 processor. A potential deal breaker, you have a choice of Windows 7 or Windows 8. Linux geeks take note, there’s also one running Ubuntu available on the US market for $599.

Price: From €699

Connectivity comes via Wi-Fi and NFC(!) and images can be reviewed on its 3" touch screen.
