Tony O’Malley has been appointed as chief executive officer for Fujitsu Ireland.

O’Malley takes up the roll with immediate effect, taking over from Regina Moran who has been appointed as CEO of Fujitsu UK and Ireland.

Having worked for Fujitsu since 1998, O’Malley has fulfilled various roles, mostly recently as Customer Accounts Director. He is a member of the Fujitsu Ireland Leadership Team, and has been responsible for the overall development of the Fujitsu business in Ireland through strategic customer relations.

“I am delighted to be taking over as CEO of Fujitsu Ireland,” said O’Malley. “Having worked with the company for nearly twenty years, I have witnessed its development and growth. While Fujitsu is a truly global company, Fujitsu Ireland has developed a strong Irish heritage through its partnership with customers, colleagues and the local community in which we operate.”

O’Malley has more than 27 years management experience, and prior to joining Fujitsu Ireland, had attained the rank of Captain in the Communication and Information Services Directorate of the Irish Army. He is a graduate of Dublin City University.
