Transaction Network Services (TNS) has chosen TelecityGroup as its co-location provider in Dublin. The payment solutions firm will host its mission critical infrastructure in TelecityGroup’s NorthWest Business Park data centre, enabling secure transmission of time-sensitive, payment-related information for customers.

TelecityGroup provides carrier-neutral data centres and has a number of locations across Europe. Managing director Maurice Mortell said the TNS deal would build "on TelecityGroup’s existing relationship in the UK, Italy and Sweden. Connectivity and security are at the core of any online transaction solution."

Vice president of operations for TNS Ciaran Jones said: "The security and scalability of TelecityGroup’s Dublin data centres was a key influencer in our decision. Not only did we want a partner that offered a highly resilient and secure hosting environment but also one that we can grow with."
