Ten start-ups have been announced as the latest participants in NDRC’s LaunchPad start-up accelerator. Each of the successful companies taking part in the 12-week programme will receive up to €20,000 in micro-seed investment, get hands-on mentoring, take part in weekly workshops, and get the chance to network with thought leaders.

NDRC director Gary Leyden said: “As can be seen by the participants in the ninth iteration of NDRC LaunchPad, professionals who have already progressed in their careers and are looking to strike out on their own are particularly suited to taking part in the programme.

“We have continued to refine the NDRC LaunchPad approach to create high-impact new ventures and this intake of 10 start-ups have the capabilities to match previous successful graduates of the programme. NDRC LaunchPad 9 participants were chosen from a field of over 100 applicants and there are a wide variety of exciting business propositions from an app that provides for online betting on YouTube videos to an analytics tool that will slash legal costs for firms to an online instrument that will help local store owners and consumers communicate and find out what’s open and when.”

The selected companies are: Local Mint, Adyuka, Tubett, Journ.ie, BookieWokie, Legal Shine, Akita, Zilta, GoBramble, and Meebler.com.
