The Irish Software Association (ISA), the Ibec group that represents Irish software companies, today launched the 2015 ISA Software Industry Awards.

This year awards will be given out in eight categories: ISA digital technology company of the year; outstanding achievement in international growth; digital technology services project of the year; emerging company of the year; technology innovation of the year; excellence in talent development; multinational corporation initiative of the year; and outstanding academic achievement of the year.

“Ireland has an impressive scaling indigenous technology sector that employs over 12,000 people and has total sales revenue of more than €2 billion per annum. Many of these companies are leading exporters and are becoming tech multinationals in their own right,” said Cronan McNamara, chair of the ISA and founder of Creme Global.

Paul Sweetman, ISA director added: “It is true to say that Ireland is an increasingly influential global technology hub. This year’s ISA Awards will recognise and celebrate those companies who have achieved exceptional success and developed innovative digital technologies over the past 12 months.”

The Awards will take place in the Double Tree by Hilton in Dublin on Friday 20 November. Closing date for entries is 30 September.
