Smart security solutions provider Re:Sure has secured €250,000 in funding from existing investors as it preapres to expand its operation outside Ireland to the UK.

In a separate development, the company has announced the creation of 10 jobs in operations and customer support.

With revenue increasing by over 55% in 2013 and 39% in 2014, the company expects this trend to be continued in 2015 across its core areas of home, business, and personal security.

Re:Sure’s home and business monitored security services add an audio component to existing CCTV systems, telling potential intruders to vacate an area before a crime has been committed.

A personal security product, Re:Sure Go is a subscription-based smartphone app for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Once the app is opened it sends the user’s location to a control centre, which tracks them live and uses the phone’s camera to record and send audio and video clips.

“Due to the rapid growth of our newly launched Re:Sure Home services, we are looking to expand into the UK sooner than expected,” said John MacMahon, partner, Re:Sure. “As a growing business, this new investment will help us to further stake our market claim as a leader in transformative technology. The security industry has changed massively in the past decade and we’re at the forefront of that development.
