Recruitment website Glassdoor has announced plans to open an office in Dublin in January 2016 with jobs in primarily in sales, marketing & customer success.

The news comes on the back of the opening of Glassdoor’s Irish website, offering over 33,000 job listings and employee-submitted reviews of working conditions including salary reports, benefit reviews and office photos from 2,6001 companies in Ireland – including tech players such as Google, Accenture and Version 1.

For all Ireland-based employers, Glassdoor offers a free employer account giving employers tools and resources to engage with job seekers. With a free employer account, an official company representative can gain valuable insights and analytics to understand what influences their hiring efforts and reputation. The account also allows employers to respond to their company’s reviews, flag inappropriate content and post real-time updates on their profile pages.

Globally, Glassdoor has more than 10 million pieces of content across 445,000 employers.

“We are excited to expand our global footprint by launching in Ireland to provide greater workplace transparency for Irish job seekers into local employers, and in turn helping employers recruit more effectively,” said Diarmuid Russell, head of Glassdoor International. “In addition to be being focused on better addressing the needs of the European jobs and employment market, the opening of the Dublin office in 2016 is an opportunity for local job seekers to join Glassdoor and help build and shape a tech start-up that is in hyper-growth mode.”

Martin Shanahan, CEO, IDA Ireland, said: “Talent is the number one reason why companies choose to come to Ireland. Glassdoor has a great understanding of this. This launch from Glassdoor forms part of their investment plan for Ireland. We welcome their plans to open an office in Dublin in January 2016 and wish them continued growth and success.”
