Outsourced customer contact services provider Zevas Communications is to add 40 new jobs at its Cork and Dublin office, bringing its overall headcount to 185.

The majority of the 40 jobs will be based at its Cork headquarters and include roles in telesales and business development.

Founded in 2001, Zevas has offices in Cork and Dublin, with satellite branches in Hamburg and Moscow. The company delivers customer sales and support services on behalf of global brands including Google and PayPal.

John O’Sullivan, chief operating officer, Zevas, said: “We specialise in providing outsourced and insource customer support services to major global brands across a diverse mix of sectors including technology, online commerce and financial services, across Europe and North American markets.

“Today’s new jobs announcement is thrilling news for us as a business because it reflects a period of sustained growth created on the back of some major new client wins. Boosting our team will allow us scale up faster and continue to shine bright on the world stage of outsourced customer contact solutions. While we’re offering 40 jobs for now, I expect this to be just the start of our ongoing recruitment with ambitious plans to treble our employee numbers by 2019.”
