    NDRC LaunchPad open evening

    NDRC is inviting applications for investment and participation in its next NDRC LaunchPad programme, which will begin in early March 2015.

    The NDRC LaunchPad programme is recognised as Ireland’s leading digital accelerator programme, and the next programme which will begin in March (www.ndrc.ie/ndrc_launchpad).

    This will be the eleventh time NDRC has run the international award winning programme which is the perfect fit for tech entrepreneurs with a bold vision to provide disruptive solutions into large and growing markets. The programme is particularly suited to exceptional early stage startup teams who are developing a digital business model innovation.

    NDRC’s 15 week programme has a track record that is second-to-none in bringing through ventures that are investor-ready and primed to disrupt their markets. Notable alumni include:

    ·       Soundwave: Music discovery & analytics company, and recently shortlisted for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Emerging Category, with investment from Mark Cuban amongst others.

    ·       Adaptics trading as Drop: The first digital scale that hooks up with a recipe platform for baking, who recently closed a funding round of €2 million led by Frontline Ventures.

    ·       Boxever: The travel marketing software specialist who recently signed a major deal with Ryanair, and recently raised €4m in investment.

    ·       Video Elephant: The video marketplace who recently secured €1 million in funding in a second round of investment led by ACT Venture Capital.

    ·       PharmaPod: The medication-related incident management software platform for pharmacists and whose founder, Leonora O’Brien, was announced as Entrepreneur of the Year at Women of the Year Awards.

    NDRC LaunchPad will begin in March 2015. As well as participation in the 15-week programme, participating companies access up to €20,000 in micro-seed investment.

    Closing date for applications is 6 January but interested parties are encouraged to apply sooner due to the expected high volume of entries.
