  The second it@cork Women in Tech lunchtime event will take place on 10 September in the KBC bank boardroom at 4 Lapps Quay, Cork.  

  At this event Sinead McSweeney will discuss her current role at Twitter, as well as her career to date including her role as director of communications for An Garda Síochána and the Police Service of Northern Ireland.

  The Women in Tech event series was recently shortlisted by Chambers Ireland for an Excellence in Local Government Award. The nomination recognised the important contribution towards supporting women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) sectors of the Cork City Council supported it@Cork event series.
