Ergo has been named the Microsoft country partner of the year for the fourth time in six years.

The Microsoft country partner of the year award recognises partners at the country level that have demonstrated business excellence in delivering Microsoft services or solutions to mutual customers during the past year.

John Purdy, Ergo chief executive, said: “We are delighted that our Microsoft practice continues to be recognised and that we are seen to be at the forefront of the transformation in the way software is delivered and consumed from the cloud. The combination of Microsoft’s excellent software and services with our engineering excellence and customer focus makes for a winning partnership.”

Martin Cullen, SMSP director, Microsoft, said: “Ergo’s receipt of this award four out of six years is an outstanding achievement, they continuously deliver exceptional value to our mutual clients. We are impressed with Ergo’s commitment to innovation and excellence, and are delighted with their success both in Ireland and internationally.”

Ergo is responsible for 58% of Microsoft’s Office 365 implementations in Ireland, Ergo has delivered over 150 cloud-based projects over the last two years for some of Ireland’s best-known companies such as Realex Payments, Core Media, and ASL Aviation Group.

The news of the award comes two weeks after Ergo announced its acquisition of another Microsoft partner, iSite.
