Enercon opens sales office in Dublin

Wind energy turbine provider Enercon has officially opened a new sales office in Santry, Dublin.

Enercon’s expanded Dublin operation will have responsibility for sales, project management, electrical engineering, logistics coordination and site assessment in Ireland. The company will have 22 people employed at their new office, with future growth expected.

The investment is supported by Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.

Enercon has been active in Ireland since 1998 and operates five service stations across the country, with 130 people currently working in the installation and servicing of wind turbines.  It has factories in eight countries and employs more than 17,000 people worldwide.
