Ellucian opens Ballsbridge office

Ellucian, a provider of software and services to higher education institutions, is creating up to 50 new positions over the next three years at a new office in Ballsbridge, Dublin.

The new jobs being created are in technical sales, marketing, customer support and product development.

The project is supported by IDA Ireland through the Department of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation.

Speaking at the official opening of the Ballsbridge office today, Ellucian president and CEO Jeff Ray said: “We keep higher education, technology, and enabling student success at the heart of all that we do. It fuels the growing global economy. There’s great talent in Ireland and we are proud to make investments in job creation to help propel that growth.”

Welcoming the announcement Martin Shanahan, CEO, IDA Ireland, added: “Ellucian’s plans for the Dublin operation will further strengthen Ireland’s ICT cluster.  This announcement also  complements IDA’s strategy of winning investments in the software and cloud computing space.  We look forward to working with the company as it scales its global business from Ireland.”
