IT consultancy E-mit Solutions is to deliver Microsoft’s Azure Site Recovery (ASR) services following its attaining of Microsoft gold partner status.
Through ASR, E-mit will be able to replicate its customers’ servers, applications and data in the cloud so that in the event of a disaster, they can have full access for any period of time until the problem is fixed. The announcement follows E-mit’s successful rollout of Microsoft’s Office 365 services to customers, which saw an increase of 78% in revenue and 30 new customers over a six-month period.
“ASR represents a huge opportunity for our customers,” said Eamon Moore, managing director, E-mit Solutions. “Customers can be safe in the knowledge that their employees can access applications remotely and continue to work despite a server malfunction, fire, flood, or any other disaster. Historically, only large scale enterprises could avail of that kind of solution, but this is an affordable solution that will allow for a more level playing field.
