Tile, move, rearrange or close all your desktop windows with a quick keypress

WinSplit Revolution is a lightweight desktop tool that makes it easy to organise all your open application windows.

Suppose you're viewing a website and want to compare how it looks in IE and Firefox, for instance. All you have to do is open the site in one browser, then press Ctrl+Alt+4 (on the numeric keypad) to resize it to the left-hand side of the screen. Then view the site in the second browser, and press Ctrl+Alt+6 to resize it to the right, and you can examine both versions of the site side-by-side.

Okay, it's true, that sounds a lot like Windows 7's Snap feature. But WinSplit Revolution goes further, allowing you to move application windows to the top or bottom of the screen, or even the four corners, just by holding down Ctrl and Alt and pressing the appropriate numeric keypad button.

And that's just the start.

The program can also intelligently tile your open application windows so you can view them all at the same time.

You can have WinSplit Revolution remember the position of particular application windows, and restore these with a keypress.

There's an option to set the active window to be "always on top" of other windows, so it's easier to monitor.

And surprising bonus extra tools include the ability to take screenshots, or change the transparency of the active window.
