BOI Payment Acceptance (BOIPA) has partnered with hospitality software and system provider Captiva POS to provide integrated payment solutions to its clients.

Captiva POS is used for order and payments processing by over a 1,000 outlets in Ireland – including branches of the chains Munchies, Hillbilly’s, Kanoodle, Ramen Thai, Thunders Bakery, Romayos and Sbarro Pizza.

“We are very pleased to be entering into this new partnership with Captiva.  Captiva’s EPOS solution is an integral part of many Irish hospitality businesses’ busy daily operations. Integrating BOIPA’s payment technology will make an already fantastic software suite even quicker and more convenient for the customer and the business,” said Barry Gray, marketing director, BOIPA.

Eddie Carty, CEO, Captiva, said: “By partnering with BOIPA, Captiva will not only provide additional convenience to customers, but to the businesses themselves.  In a sector where speed is so important, BOIPA’s service means our clients will spend less time at the tills and more time serving customers and improving their business in other ways.”

BOIPA is a marketing alliance between Bank of Ireland and EVO Payments International. The company provides card point-of-sale and online payment solutions for SMEs and corporate businesses.   BOIPA recently announced a €9.1 million investment in the business and the creation of 50 new jobs, bringing its total Irish workforce to 120 employees.
