The finalists in this year’s Blog Awards Ireland have been announced. Organisers Lorna Sixsmith and Amanda Webb have described the standard of blogs in this year’s shortlist as “extremely high”. The winners of each of the 32 categories will be announced at a ceremony at the Westgrove Hotel in Clane on Saturday 4 October.

Blog Awards Ireland co-founder and author Lorna Sixsmith said: “So many people blog for enjoyment and to write about their hobby or interest. In doing so, they connect with like-minded people and expand their network. Many bloggers, including myself, have increased their knowledge and confidence to such an extent that they have become published authors.”

Tickets priced at €50 are still available at www.blogawardsireland.com.
