Azotel, a Cork-based developer of subscriber management software for the telecoms sector, has announced a partnership with Telrad Networks that will see its system integrated into the US telco’s 4G LTE network solution.

The Telrad/Azotel solution will primarily be deployed in North America, where it has already begun rolling out.

Azotel’s SIMPLer (Subscriber Information Management Platform) is now being used with the suite of Telrad LTE products, bringing together all information pertaining to an end user under one portal view, including customer relationship management, service delivery, accounts, marketing and management information and more.

John O’Hare, CEO, Azotel, said: “We started out as an Internet Service Provider, so we genuinely understand the pain points that providers face every day. As we developed our solution, our goal was to provide a higher-end, multi-functional management solution – normally only available to larger operators who could afford to develop a custom made solution – available to smaller operators. This integration enables operators to more effectively engage and manage their customers and focus on accelerating their growth, as well as support that growth as it is realised.”

Chris Daniels, vice president and regional GM of North America for Telrad, said: “Telrad is proud to be the first LTE vendor to integrate with Azotel. This collaboration empowers our shared customers to drive greater value from their networks, with greater visibility and centralised across-the-network customer management.

“Our continued strategy is to enhance our offering and integrate our solutions with additional industry-leading partners, such as Azotel, with a commitment to delivering world-class solutions that enhance the flexibility and usability of the Telrad LTE platform.”
