Expertise: Computerlinks' Kathryn Miller
Specialist value-add distributor Computerlinks is launching a new suite of virtualisation services for its channel partners. The services will cover capacity planning, design and implementation, and have been added to the Professional Services portfolio in response to resellers' requests.
The distributor aims to see its partners better equipped and also benefiting from higher margins when recommending virtualisation solutions.
The services will initially be available to resellers in Ireland and the UK, going global later.
Kathryn Miller, professional services manager at Computerlinks, notes: "As the business case for virtualisation is now well-accepted, resellers are under increasing pressure to deliver solutions that are carefully planned to meet their clients' specific needs. However, many resellers don't have the resources or time to develop these skills in depth themselves. By partnering with us, they can deliver the expertise without the overhead."
The new services will consist of capacity planning, design and implementation services, and will cover the Citrix, Microsoft, The Virtual Machine Company and VMware platforms.
The official launch of Computerlinks' new services takes place at the Citrix Partner Accelerator event today, 11 March.
