Breaking out: Inspired MD Eamon Breen
A start-up software and services specialist is spending €250,000 to break into the UK market.
Inspired SS was set up in late 2008 to deliver business productivity products for SME's. It has been rolling out its SharePoint solution, BizPortal, through Irish partners and now wants to to break into the UK market.
Inspired says BizPortal helps small and medium firms to "save money on their IT costs and streamline business processes."
Areas covered include document management, HR, sales, operations and finance.
Inspired reports strong demand for BizPortal, particularly the document management and HR management applications.
The document management plug-in increases standard SharePoint functionality by adding document scanning and OCR. The HR application enables tracking and management of the approval process for holidays and expenses, timesheet recording, sick leave, training certifications and health and safety monitoring.
Inspired MD Eamon Breen notes: "We have over 10 partners reselling BizPortal.We have a UK team in place and have so far signed up four partners in our first four months."
