Tight integration: Calyx Software's Darrell Brislane
Irish business applications re-seller Calyx Software has signed a strategic partnership agreement with document management and imaging software author Version One.
This deal provides Calyx's Agresso Business World, CODA Financials and Microsoft Dynamics GP customers with Version One's integrated document management and imaging solutions to help meet growing demand among Irish businesses for document management functionality.
Calyx customers, using Version One's integrated solutions, can now replace paper-based creation, postage, storage and retrieval of financial documents with automated processes.
By electronically creating, storing, retrieving, delivering, authorising and managing financial documents directly from their accounting and enterprise resource planning, these users can cut costs, improve efficiency, free-up document storage space and reduce paper waste. Using Version One's automated invoice processing solution, users can also automatically capture data from incoming invoices, reducing manual data entry by up to 90%.
Calyx Software's Darrell Brislane, business development manager, notes: "We have noticed an increasing demand from Irish businesses for document management solutions that tightly integrate into their accounting and ERP systems." He said Version One had been recommended to Calyx by software author Agresso.
