Just add software: Ballygowan's costs have drained away
Irish bottled water cooler specialist Ballygowan is using OnePosting to provide online invoicing to its customers, with significantly reduced invoicing costs.
Ballygowan needed a secure electronic invoicing system that would be simple for customers to use yet robust enough to facilitate the billing process. In place of paper invoices, customers now get an e-mail pointing them to a secure online portal where they view and accept their invoices online 24x7.
In the first six months Ballygowan saw the number of postal invoices fall by 50%, the equivalent of enough paper to cover Croke Park each year. The firm also enjoys improved debtor management and lower admin costs since going online.
Ballygowan's Catherine O'Mahony notes that cost savings were "primarily through reduced postage, stationery and handling costs." She added: "Since we started using OnePosting, we have seen a considerable drop in the number of customer queries, enabling our staff to focus on other key areas."
OnePosting CEO Gregory Duffy said Ballygowan is now exploring the use of OnePosting's B2B messaging service for supplier-to-buyer conversations.
