Hard worker: The Dolphin 6100 aims to raise productivity
The Dolphin 6100 mobile computer expands Honeywell's mobility portfolio for retail and other light-industrial use. Designed for single-handed scanning, the pocket-sized device offers data-collection and imaging capabilities for increased productivity.
Wireless technology lets users manage in-store and backroom retail operations, including customer assistance, price- and product look-up, merchandising, and inventory management. The maker says its battery will last through a full shift without recharging.
The Dolphin 6100 runs on Windows Embedded CE 5.0 software, and it reads linear and 2D bar codes, and captures digital images, including electronic signatures.
