Pay-per-use billing package cuts costs

eXpd8 aimed at professional service providers

Software & Services | 30 Mar 2009 :
Software-solution provider eXpd8 is offering a pay-per-use package for its time-management and billing facility. It is aimed mainly at small and medium law firms, but is also suited to other professional services business, from accountants to architects.

eXpd8 records and stores all points of communication with clients, from post, e-mails, faxes and phone calls to voice files, photographs, maps and diary appointments - creating a paperless office environment.

The firm says eXpd8 "dramatically enhances staff efficiency" by centrally storing client-related data and making it available to authorised users when and where they need it. It also optimises billing efficiency by recording every second of chargeable time and all relevant fees as they are incurred, then integrating them into a real time billing system.

eXpd8 CEO Declan Branagan says the cost is just €1 per day per user, billed monthly. He said this is "a fraction" of the upfront and continuing costs associated with competitors. Technical support and updates are also provided.

eXpd8 software is fully integrated with Microsoft applications, and can be downloaded and tried for 30 days.
