Flash memory maker Transcend Information
has taken the wraps off a drive that can be worn as a fashion accessory. The
USB 2.0 JetFlash V90 is also a serious storage tool, with a capacity of 2GB.
Inspired by fashion decorations, the
stylish metal body with genuine pearl shell comes with a long and a short chain
so that it can be worn around the neck or attached to a key-ring. The device,
about the size of a small brooch or medallion, weighs only 8g, is aimed at
travellers who carry data while on the move.
The V90 comes bundled with a software
package developed to help users manage data and increase productivity, with
functions that include AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Favorites, Secret-Zip, E-mail,
DataBackup, My JetFlash, and Online update.
