Bewleys Hotel has recently installed front and rear projection digital
retail signage in its Hotel in Leopardstown, Dublin. Three separate screens have been
installed within the foyer, the business centre and the restaurant area of the
hotel.
Using new
software developed by Digicom, these projection screens can be easily updated
and maintained.
A live
Internet feed of the Aircoach tracking system along with meeting room
information is displayed on the foyer screen, meeting room information is shown
on the meeting room screen while menu options/restaurant times are displayed on
the third restaurant screen.
In
installing this system the main objective was to display information, however,
the screens have been such an attention grabbing success that the staff in the
hotel have found themselves dealing with substantially fewer customer queries
thereby freeing up time and increasing productivity.
Bewleys
has also decided to implement the system in its new Dublin Airport
hotel.
