FXGuru takes you regular boring video camera footage and lets you superimpose some dramatic special effects on top of them. For example, a sleepy wood can become an inferno, a city skyline can become pockmarked with alien space ships. For Halloween you might like to take a sample of ghosts, zombies and werewolves to make basic films.
There are plenty more effects available as in-app purchases but seeing as it comes pre-loaded with 90 of them you probably won’t be forking out after a first use. And it’s free for a limited time only.
