TERMINALFOUR completes deal with Liverpool Hope University
WCMS provides new interactive communication platform
TechTrade | 04 Oct 2012 :
Software developer TERMINALFOUR has implemented its Web content management solution (WCMS) to Liverpool Hope University, creating a more modern and student-orientated website.
Liverpool Hope University has two main teaching campuses, Hope Park situated in a suburb of Liverpool and the Creative Campus in Liverpool city centre. With 8,500 students, the university places a strong emphasis on creating a vibrant community among students, lecturers and staff.
TERMINALFOUR won the competitive tender to provide its WCMS, TERMINALFOUR Site Manager. It was chosen due to its extensive experience working with higher education institutions and the ease of use of TERMINALFOUR Site Manager for non-technical staff.
The company developed a student and staff gateway for the university that contains all the information students need, including library resources, an information portal containing career and well-being advice, in addition to regular services such as course management system Moodle and student records from the new website.
Piero Tintori, CEO, TERMINALFOUR (pictured), said: "Our offering has been built with these unique requirements in mind and we provide, as standard, many in-built modules specific to the higher education market.
Working with some of the most renowned higher education institutions around the world, we will continue to develop our product and services, to ensure we are providing the best web content management solution for this market."
