App roundup

A game selection for this week

TechLife | 14 Jun 2012 :  London 2012: Official app
For: iOS, Android

This guide to the Olympics tracks the progress of torch bearers (with a chance to tweet them), gives a timetable of events, stadia seating plans, and even serves as a local guide to the city. A favourites function means you can follow only the events that interest you.

UEFA Euro 2012 by Carlsberg
For: iOS, Android

There are a load of Euro 2012 apps out there, but this Carlsberg-sponsored option is the real deal. Features include a fixtures list, newsfeed, video clips and match statistics.

JoyceWays
For: iOS

Bloomsday is almost upon us (that's 16 June in case you hadn't noticed) and now there's an app to guide you through Leopold Bloom's Odyssey through the streets of Dublin. The app features excerpts from Ulysses read by Frank Delaney and every significant spot on the route is marked with trivia, criticism, cartoons and posters. Hopefully the word count will be kept to a minimum.
