Second TechFire briefing confirmed for 19 June
Panel to tackle issue of public, private, hybrid cloud

The second TechFire briefing will take place in the Gibson Hotel in Dublin on 19 June. Sponsored by Interxion and HiberniaEvros and moderated by ComputerScope editor Paul Hearns, a panel will explore the topic "Which cloud: public, private or hybrid?" Talking points will include the problems of scalability and control, interconnectivity between public and private cloud, and what defines the value chain of cloud providers.
Speakers confirmed for the briefing are David Garret, IT operations manager, Irish Stock Exchange; Kevin Mahady, CTO, G4S Group; Vincent in't Veld, director of cloud services, Interxion; Brian Larkin, operations director, Digital Planet; and Hugh Dawson, head of services, HiberniaEvros.
The TechFire briefings use a 'compact group' format where a select audience of IT professionals get the opportunity to engage with experts and network with peers.
The event is free to attend but registration is essential.
