Sony Vaio E14
With all this talk of tablets and ultrabooks it's easy to forget there is still a thriving market for 'traditional' laptops. Sony's Vaio E14 range comes with an Intel Core i3-2350M processor, 4Gb of RAM and a 500Gb hard drive and a 14" widescreen HD display.
Other trappings include AMD Radeon HD 7670M (1Gb VRAM) and Intel HD Graphics 3000, DVD SuperMulti Drive, Dolby Home Theater, and all the usual connectivity options.

LG Optimus 3D Max
LG returned to profitability to this year but it's unlikely the Optimus 3D Max will be much of a money spinner in its own right. While it does have the ability to upscale from 2D to 3D without the aid of glasses it is severely hamstrung by it's now dated Android 2.3 operating system. With no timetable for an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich scheduled, or even UK/ROI release date, it looks like the project of converting everyone to 3D interfaces is a long way off completion.
