Minister for Jobs and Innovation Richard Bruton has annouced that 77 jobs are to be created acrodd Ireland following the decision by a number of high growth technology companies to locate their Eurpean operations in Ireland.
The companies, Culture Translate, Diaceutics, Nimble Apps, iMosphere and Unique Digital, will become part of the growing cluster of companies that have been attracted to Ireland by the IDA. The jobs will be spread out between Limerick, Dundalk and Dublin.
The announcements come as part of IDA's Expand & Internationalise your business through Ireland event in Berlin taking place on 25 April. The event which will be attended by some of the leading emerging companies in Europe, showcasing Ireland as the location of choice for companies seeking to establish an international base.
Minister Bruton said: "Today's announcement that five high-growth early-stage European companies are locating operations in Ireland with the creation of 77 jobs is great news. These are companies that might be relatively small now, but have the potential to grow exponentially and create large numbers of jobs here. Through continued implementation of the Action Plan for Jobs I am determined to ensure that we attract a wider spread of multinational companies and help get Ireland back to work."
