Accenture completes acquisition of Neo Metrics Analytics
"Personalised interactions" key attraction
TechTrade | 10 Apr 2012 :
Management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture has completed its acquisition of Neo Metrics Analytics S.L., a consulting firm specialising in optimisation and predictive analytics based in Madrid, Spain.
Plans for the acquisition were originally announced last January. The acquisition will add a number of analytics tools to Accenture's existing portfolio, including an advanced modeller solution, which creates industrialised analytical models to help clients predict customer behaviour, and new social network analysis capabilities to enable clients to better target key influencers in the customer community.
"Clients are looking for actionable customer insights that are critical to their organisation's ability to launch more profitable marketing campaigns, reduce customer turnover and create more personalised interactions," said Narendra Mulani, managing director, Accenture Analytics and Marketing Services. "With Neo Metrics' capabilities, we can offer analytic intelligence across all of our clients' business processes and help clients fundamentally change the way they interact with customers."
