Profitero launches analytics Web app

Pricing intelligence company Profitero has added to its range of software offerings with the release of a price comparison application for the retail sector.

Profitero’s new Web-based dashboard is designed to provide data on multiple retailers and thousands of products on a daily basis. Clients can track and analyse online prices, stock availability, shipping costs, and benchmark those costs against those of competitors.

"The new dashboard helps Profitero clients to see how they are positioned in competitive marketplace and what actions they can take to avoid losing customers and grow sales," said Vol Pigrukh, chief executive and co-founder of Profitero. "For example, reports clearly show where the client is selling products too cheap and can quickly increase the margin with the help of this information."

Competitor market share reports and price distribution reports allow users to see what competitors are selling and at what price across 28 million products across 2,800 retail websites.
