Nokia Lumia 900
Accidentally leaked to technology blog Engadget, this could be the shape of Nokia's Lumia 900, the next generation of Windows Phone 7 handsets. With the Lumia 800 just hitting the shelves it's something of an embarrassment to the company, and it's not an unattractive package. No word on specs as yet. We imagine there are some red faces around because of this.
Google augmented reality goggles
Reported in an article on blog 9 to 5 Google, the search engine giant is experiementing with prototype augmented reality goggles that might look more than a little like this mockup based on a set of Oakley sunglasses. According to a source in the company the glasses have a built in camera, flash and one lens features an opaque portion on which is projected a heads-up display.
Unfortunately it looks like there won't be 3D functionality, but a navigation system based on head movements sounds at minimum gets points for innovation. No word as yet on a release date, if it gets one at all.
Canon Powershot D20
Canon's latest compact camera for the outdoors, the 12.1MP D20 is waterproof (to 10M), shockproof (from 1.5M), freezeproof (to -10°C) and dustproof (however that is measured).
You can take and review pictures or HD movies on its 3" touch screen, which includes 32 Smart auto modes and a 5x optical zoom. A notable selling point is Canon's iMAGE GATEWAY cloud storage service, which offers 10Gb of space as standard.
